Dinner at My place
For last few days I was thinking about having a dinner with colleagues and with my students. How ever , I finally decided to throw 1 on this Sunday (2-November – 2014 ). The first list we made was of 41 guests , which was than reduced to 26 people. Anas took whole day to clean the house, and to my amazement , Qiaser GM and Zeyad also cleaned their room . The menu was decided as Rice, Chicken karai , and Veggie curry/
On Sunday morning I decided to go to market, to buy the chicken and other stuff so I can cook it. How ever due to some bad luck, I was caught in traffic jam. The Raiwand Ijtima ended almost same time. The traffic police converted all routes to one way, which mean you can go only go , but can not come back . So after after driving four almost 2 hours here and there , I actually found a one passage , which allowed me to reach home . This year 8 lac people gathered for the prayer. And you can well imagine, how heavy would traffic be.
Form My LCA class Section B hamid, Ali Akram , abu Bakar and From Section A Rana faheem also showed up .
To reduce the washing and cleaning stuff we decided to use Paper plates. And than we all started cooking. It was fun . Almost every one showed up.
